Clue Master Detective

This is your basic Clue game with more rooms, weapons, and suspects.....that's about it. The concept is the same and so is the gameplay; w/a few few exceptions. The major difference here involves the suggestion. In this edition, all the players try to disprove a suggestion, rather than stopping at the first player that shows a card.

Clue the Great Museum Caper

This edition of Clue takes place at Mr. Boddy's museum, located behind his grand mansion where the 6 Clue characters are staying. There has been a robbery at the museum and the thief has stolen some paintings. It's your mission to stop the thief dead in their tracks to recover the stolen goods

Rating: 10/10 This is a really good game I could play over and over. I think the reason this game is so good is because the makers managed to design a game that balances strategy w/ theme

Clue Mysteries

Yet another sequel in the Clue series. This time John Boddy and his attorney Miles Meadowbrook. This is where the 12 suspect characters come into play. The crooks have come to the area to plot the demise of Boddy and Meadowbrook but have also turned the town into a hotbed for petty crime. Its your job to visit all the clue characters houses to gather a clues from the witnesses. Be sure to visit Mr. Boddy; he can tell you where the guilty party is hiding! Lastly, visit Inspector Brown to see if anyone is lying. Once you figure out who the culprit is and where he is hiding, you win!

This is a good game. The directions are simple and short, it has a cool theme, and its fun to play. This is what a board game is all about! Narrowing down the suspects reminds me of "Guess Who!" You can play over and over again. Each case has a cool mystery story to it too.

I really wanted to like this game. I loved the show and the PC game as a kid. This game pretty much sucks though. The only fun part is the trivia questions. We resulted to just reading the trivia questions ala Trivia Pursuit. I give them "E" for effort but I think the theme of the game needs to tie in more heavily to the geography/trivia part. Its not a whole lot of fun when all your doing is chasing other opponents and trying to land on their space to steal their clue. The game simply needs more substance to qualify as a board game to me.

Whodunit

Another murder mystery piece from the collection where you have to figure out which suspect did it, what room they did it in, what weapon was used, and lastly, their motive for committing the crime. You can solve it one of two ways: from collecting 2 alibis or 4 clues.

Mystery Mansion

Rating: 7/10
This game is decent. Definitely worth a play (although I much prefer the electronic version). The game lasts a little long. I like the concept and the game play though. You basically need to do 3 things: find the treausure, find the key that opens the treasure chest, and race to the front door to open it. Another downfall is that you get 3 actions during one turn, which ultimately, causes confusion; too many things to do in one turn means you lose track of what your doing and how many actions you've completed.

13 Dead End Drive

Next to Battle Masters, this game is absolutely ridiculous to set-up. This is the original edition; the newer version has a pop-up board. Gee thanks! Other than that its decent. Nothing great about it. The board looks cool and the game has a decent concept and story to it. The story is some old, eccentric rich bitch (Aunt Agatha) died and all of her friends are trying to kill each other so they can be the last one to survive in order to inherit her will. Ok, decent story. The game board really lives up to this story well. What a pain to set-up, but it's actually the most unique game board I've ever seen and well worth the effort. The "mansion" is a stunner that includes stairs, a fireplace, and even a chandelier!

The game play even has a strategy. It requires some major thinking since you basically have control over every player during your turn. You gotta plan your moves out ahead of time; similar to clue and chess in that manner. Besides the cool board though, I wasn't too impressed but definitely think its a fun game and worth a play now and then. 7/10

Battle Masters

THIS GAME IS COOL, DON'T GET ME WRONG BUT IT TAKES WAYYY TO LONG TO SET-UP FOR WHAT ITS WORTH. IT WOULD BE WORTH IT IF THE GAME WAS ANY GOOD THOUGH. THE BATTLE CARDS LET TOO MANY PEOPLE MOVE DURING ONE TURN WHICH ULTIMATELY CAUSES MASS CONFUSION DUE TO THE COMPLEXITY OF ONE PERSONS SINGLE TURN. THE GAME HAS A FAST PACE AT THE BEGINNING WHEN YOUR RUNNING TOWARD THE OPPOSING UNITS ARMY WHICH MAKES THE GAME SEEM LIKE THIS GAME HAS THE POTENTIAL TO GET EXCITING. ITS NOT EXCITING THOUGH. A MATTER OF FACT, THIS IS A DICE GAME. WE GOT TO A POINT AT THE END WHERE I WAS LAYING ON THE FLOOR BEGGING FOR IT TO BE OVER. OH YEAH, AND SCREW THAT DAMN RIVER! DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH THIS ON YOUR SIDE OF THE MAT!@#

This is basically a roll-and-move game. 14 locations. 3 have a special feature to them. Collect clues to solve the mystery and run back to the start space.

The Real Ghostbusters Game

This is a really cool game with the exact same set-up as 'Which Witch?' 4 rooms and a stairway leading us out and home free. For this game, they've added a twist. Now, in order to pass from room-to-room you must catch a ghost. 1 ghost in every room; 4 total to escape and win. Just like Which Witch this game is balls of fun. It never gets old. Its a great take on the classic. 9/10

BORED GAMES!@#

This is the infamous shelf: chock full of board games from as early as the 1950's through present day. Clue Jr. is touted as a one player game. Clue Suspects is the only other one player game here. Most all the games can be played with 2 people. I think its a good idea to have at least 3 people for any game though. Some games require 3 players: Atmosfear, Clue, Clue Master Detective, Clue Discover the Secrets, Clue DVD, Clue the Card Game, Let's Make A Deal, Masterpiece, Mystery Mansion , and A Nightmare on Elm Street. I collect 5 types of games: TV & Movie, Mystery, Monster & Horror, Role Playing, and 3-D. I have 36 games total in the collection (and the number continues to swell thanks to Ebay!)
